One of the best patios in the city, but hands down the best patio in FiDi area. It’s elevated, but not stuffy, super cute, the food is great and service is on point. But if you get a chance to have dinner or brunch inside, it doesn’t disappoint either. Super chic and the vibe at night is next level. But the brunch pancakes are out of this world. Top 3 pancakes in the city.
First time visitor, very very beautiful restaurant. I came for brunch with a friend and sat outdoors. We started with a croissant that came with housemaid jam and butter. 9.5/10 warm, fresh and crispy. So good that I would hope to stop by and order one for take out again in the future. Their London fog tea was bit sweet but overall tasty. Our server recommended the savory breakfast to share and then the pancakes last (we wanted to share both). Tried the Shashuka and honestly 10/10 well seasoned (did not expect it to be this well done) and the bread was perfect for it. We asked for some extra sour dough bread to eat the rest of the meal. It was honestly overall the best shashuka I have tried in the city. Blueberry pancakes were a very large portion size could not finish between the two of us, excellent price for portion. The outside crispy and inside dense/fluffy mixed. I really like the blueberry compote and whipped cream. Did not need much syrup due to toppings but it was tasty as well. 7.5/10 I would definitely come back for Shashuka. Excellent service and Atmosphere .
A couple of foodies went to brunch and here’s the story.. food is very very good! I was really impressed with the ricotta toast, pancakes and eggs Benedict! The flavours, the presentation, the portions- all so SO good!! Very reasonable honestly for the price point!! Go and dress up! Have fun! Eat the carbs!
Daphne in Toronto serves up a stylish dining experience with both hits and near misses. The beef carpaccio was beautifully seasoned and paired perfectly with the crisp toasted bread, while the blistered shishito peppers, laid over a sweet pepper sauce, were a vibrant, flavorful surprise. The ribeye, though ordered medium rare, leaned a little too rare for our taste—but still packed great flavor. The Little Gem salad was fresh and crisp, though at $20 it felt a touch overpriced. That said, the elegant décor and attentive service made the evening enjoyable, and I’d gladly return to explore more of the menu.
I had my birthday dinner here with some friends! The food was good, not necessarily the most memorable meal, but still enjoyable. Although the squash tempura and beef tartar was really good, 100% recommend. We also tried the black truffle pizza, truffle fries, brussels sprouts, lobster pasta, king salmon and seafood pasta. Everything was presented very nicely, light in flavour and was overall okay. What really made the experience stand out was the service. Our server was absolutely fantastic, super knowledgeable about the menu, attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely fun to talk to. The atmosphere was also lovely, warm, inviting, and with a vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. Would definitely come back, especially for the service and ambiance.
Went here for our anniversary and we had a great time. The place had such a nice vibe, we opted for the outdoor dining, it was cozy but still felt special. As soon as we walked in the staff were super accommodating and made us feel really comfortable the whole night. The food was amazing, everything tasted fresh and full of flavor, and the presentation was on point too. Portions were enough, indeed quality over quantity. Honestly, it made our anniversary feel even more special and they gave us a complementary sorbet dessert as a gift we didn’t expect at all. Definitely a spot we’d go back to, whether it’s for another celebration or just a chill dinner date. We both left so satisfied.
Had a nice birthday dinner here! Food is solid - particularly liked the Hazelnut brownie! Service was a little slow - big delay between our apps and main. We sat outside and while it was a cool space, it didn’t feel like it was set up well for dinner - couches were too low and tables were too small to eat comfortably.
I recently celebrated my birthday at Daphne Toronto, and overall, it was a lovely experience. The ambiance was stylish yet warm, and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The food was very good — flavorful and beautifully presented. However, the only downside was that my steak was served cold, which was a bit disappointing considering the otherwise high standards. That said, everything else on the table was excellent. One of the highlights of the night was the surprise birthday cake they brought out for me. It was such a thoughtful touch and really made the evening feel special.
